Project leader for the Cosmic Ray and Solar Energetic Particle program at
the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) performing research on
the distribution, transport and acceleration of energetic ions in space.
Recent scientific work includes studies on the angular distributions and
fluxes of trapped ions in the magnetosphere of Jupiter. Developed two
spacecraft instruments and associated test equipment. Supervised technical
and scientific staff. Experienced in scientific and real-time data processing,
modeling, UNIX system management, personal computers, peripheral
integration, and local area networks. Director and manager of a retail fuel-
oil/energy-centre business.
